Sight Seeing

While driving, seeing something from afar
I think I saw a shooting star,
Couldn’t see it but how rare in the distance,
Wishing on this spectacle, out of my existence.
Out of my sight, cant even touch
I’m aware of my surroundings but don’t know much
Seeing these things, these galactic floating pieces
On the study of space, stars would be my thesis.
My thesis is apart of me, something that I know
Driving so quickly towards that little shadow,
Searching hard and close to what I think was my dream come true,
Next thing that hit me was the sight of you.
Couldn’t believe my eyes, was i insane?
Forced to realize that it was her, the fortune, the fame
Everything she did to put me above her name
this was really craze, whos the one to blame?
Whos the one left to feeling the guilt and all the shame
Constantly saying everything’s all the same
Left to stare, mouth wide, drooping down
I then knew it was her, lips puckered, her sound.
