This Mother’s Day weekend, I had the luxury of spending some alone time with my mom. My mother is a mom of three adult children and five younger children. As you can imagine, she doesn’t have time for herself, which makes spoiling mom worth it!
I commenced my first act of service by cutting and trimming my mom’s yard. When you know your loved ones love language, you complete it with excellence.
The next love language to complete was the act of gift giving. I bought my mother a dual-access Chefman Air Fryer. Air fryers make cooking hassle-free with an easy-to-clean process. Topped it off with a card from all her children and roses, this was a mother’s day mom won’t forget. I hope she knows how much we all appreciate her.
The last love language offered as stated in the first paragraph was quality time. I see my mom frequently, however, we don’t get too many days in the year to hang out between the two of us. Taking pride in parenting over three decades, I give my mom all the credit when it comes to how effective I parent my children. Thank you for being a loving parent and an excellent role model! I can honestly say that made a difference in the man I am today and I have you to thank.
Happy Mother’s Day, Mommy. You deserve the best. I’m thankful everyday that you are my mom and I thank God for the woman you are, the woman who has never given up on me, the woman who has always supported me and catered to the needs of her grandchildren.
