It’s like one thing after the next when it comes to the spotty servers of DoorDash. I have been dashing for over a year and have noticed several bugs within the dash of platform app.

As of yesterday, I noticed that the app was freezing and glitching, however I was still able to get a few more orders. I unfortunately did not reach my daily quota of $100 but I still managed to force close the app enough to get it to work.

Skip forward to today, there is a nationwide server issue causing communications with the dashers and the dasher platform. According to downdetector.com there have been more than 2,700 reports of issues with a dasher platform. Several dashers have flocked to the site to see if they were the only ones experiencing issues. Rest assured, it was not just one user however several thousand users.

With an outage so drastic as this, it makes me think how much money does doordash actually lose. The unfortunate part for people who are contract workers are we will not receive any compensation for DoorDash’s technical issues. Nor will any customer who use the service to order food.

DoorDash is phased out and we all need to stop using its platform in 2023 ASAP. It is frustrating when this is your source of income whether full-time or part-time and the big man doesn’t allow the app to work flawlessly 99% of the time.
