Today is March 1, 2023. The weather reached 82°F here in Louisville, Kentucky. You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to celebrate my daughter’s birthday amid outdoor play.

This morning, I took delicate time to get my daughter up and ready for school. Last night was an emotional night for me, though I will save that discussion for another posting.

When I woke up this morning, my daughter was already awake, playing with her toys in her room, calm yet excited for her birthday. It helped we were both awake earlier than usual, so we were able to look presentable for the day. I wanted everyone to know it was my baby girl’s birthday and that all she deserves is nothing but kindness and respect.

I sent surprise cupcakes to her teacher at school today. 36 cupcakes from vanilla to chocolate with various icing flavors. After school, she was excited to tell me that she helped pass out the cupcakes to her classmates. She was so ecstatic! It’s almost like turning a new age helped level up her mentality.

Trinity, I hope you had a wonderful birthday! I love you so much!!
